My type of culture

I really like this store. The clothes and jewelry are unique and interesting. The furnishings are appealing too. The store's prices not so much. I still like to look because it gives me ideas for someday.

Melts in your mouth

M&Ms are an all time favorite candy.  It started when my Grandpa would sneak packs of them to my sister and I when we would go visit him.  Plain ones are the best, followed by peanut, peanut butter and, a new kind, pretzel (which combines two of my favorite things, chocolate covered pretzels and M&Ms!)

Many pretty things...

Another place I like to patron is Global Gifts.  They have many pretty and fun things from around the world.  Their prices are reasonable and I'm helping artisans in less developed countries.  They really have some fun kid stuff and I especially like their jewelry.

Cider days

I enjoy a hard cider.  Woodchuck is a favorite brand.

Life is just a game...

...a board game.  Along the lines of things I'm nostalgic for, the Game of Life falls into it's place.  It was my absolute favorite board game and I wouldn't mind having one of my own now that I'm an adult.  The older versions are better than a new one from the toy store , but I'm not sure those are available anymore.

Girls go to Mars to get more candy bars

My all time favorite candy bar is a Snickers.

I couldn't resist posting this picture since it combines
my love of snickers and Mr. T.

Other favorites (though not as much favorite) include Butterfinger, Mounds and KitKat.

A girl detective...

...that's what I wanted to be growing up.  So I loved Nancy Drew books, and I still do.  Now that I have kids, I like to read them again, so I've started a collection.  There are 56 of the orginal series before plot revisions and those are my favorite. I prefer the older yellow spine look.  Nancy Drew: The Secret in the Old Attic Journal Here are the books that I have (just the number, not the title). #1          #10          #34           #51 #2          #11          #35           #3          #12          #37 #4          #13          #40           #5          #21          #41           #6          #23          #42 #7          #27          #44 #8          #29          #47 #9          #33          #50 15 #16 #19
